A beautiful stay in the wonderful Grand Hotel Rimini, a place so deeply linked to Federico Fellini that inside we can find a museum dedicated to him. It is only the beginning of a unique journey in the land of the great Italian director.

From Rimini with Castel Sismondo to Santarcangelo, also the birthplace of the poet Tonino Guerra, we will experience first-hand the beauty and famous hospitality of Romagna before moving to the nearby region to follow in Rossini's footsteps.

First stop in the Marche: Gradara and its fortress, the Rocca Malatestiana. The rest of the day will be dedicated to the famous composer born in Pesaro in 1792. In his hometown, City of Music and Italian Capital of Culture 2024, we will visit the Rossini National Museum.

Travel Itinerary 

1st Day - Arrival in Rimini

  • Independent arrival in Rimini. Accommodation at GRAND HOTEL RIMINI 5* Luxus. Rooms available in the early afternoon
  • Dinner on your own
  • Return to the hotel and overnight stay

 

2nd Day - Rimini / Opera

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide and Orientation tour (duration 3 hours) on foot
  • Opera at the Galli Theater in Rimini
  • Free time for dinner and overnight stay

 

3rd Day - Rimini / Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Meeting with the guide at the hotel and morning dedicated to Federico Fellini, including visits to the two exhibition sites at Castel Sismondo and Palazzo del Fulgor (opening at 10)
  • Departure for Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna
  • Guided tour of Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna and return to the Rimini Hotel
  • Free time for dinner and overnight stay

 

4th Day - Gradara / Pesaro

  • Breakfast at the hotel and meeting with the guide and departure for Gradara
  • Guided tour of the famous Rocca Malatestiana. The village is also worth a visit, with its relaxed atmosphere and perfectly preserved medieval structure
  • Transfer to Pesaro
  • Lunch in a selected restaurant with a menu inspired by Rossini
  • Guided tour of the Rossini National Museum, which tells the life, the man and the greatness of the artist, but also the modernity of the work of Gioachino Rossini, an illustrious citizen of Pesaro. The Museum is located on the main floor of Palazzo Montani Antaldi, a prestigious building in the city center and a jewel in the wonderful itinerary on Rossini in Pesaro, UNESCO City of Music
  • Inside the Rossini Museum a musical surprise awaits guests: A soprano will entertain guests with Rossini's most famous arias, accompanied by her harp playing, in a show that will allow guests to "dive" into the world of Rossini
  • The guided tour will end with a visit to Rossini's birthplace (duration about 20 minutes)
  • Return to the Hotel in Rimini
  • Free time for dinner and overnight stay

 

Day 5th - Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Independent departure.
